About
Where golf instinct meets data science.
Austin Powell
Founder, AP Stats Sports
Austin Powell built AP Stats Sports from a unique intersection: four years of competitive golf at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master's in Computer Science focused on Data Science and Machine Learning, and years of hands-on experience working across multiple hockey analytics departments at the professional level.
After seeing how data transformed decision-making in hockey, Austin turned that same rigor toward golf. The result is a shot-level analytics platform that tour professionals, high-end amateurs, and college programs rely on to prepare, compete, and improve.
AP Stats Sports isn't a dashboard you log into and figure out yourself. It's a direct partnership — Austin works with each client personally to translate complex data into actionable intelligence.
